In my lifetime, which has not been short, I have yet to come across a situation or circumstance that the Bible does not cover. Have you ever wondered if suddenly it would stay night forever and the morning would never come? I remember, many years ago, having a fleeting thought like that and then coming across this verse.
God has everything taken care of and thought out--before the foundation of the world even--with a God like that, who leaves nothing to chance, we need not be discouraged, disappointed, depressed, or downhearted today.
Hope you have a wonderful week.

Thanks Dianne! I needed this reminder today that God has everything under his watch care...stopping by from the Sunday Community
ReplyDeleteThank you for this WORD. Too often, we become so overwhelmed with our circumstances that we often feel that the "night" will last forever. But, God has an answer for even that. As you have well said and as the scripture reminds us, "Weeping may endure for the night, but joy does come in the morning." Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteLove that painting! Did you create it?
ReplyDeleteAmen and the same question as Deidra...
ReplyDeleteI've read that verse so many times, and I have never thought to use it in such an encouraging manner. I,too, have had nights that last too long, and I have friends in their own nights right now. I will remember this. LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteHe never disappoints! I love His Word and the Truth that is contained within it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
Debbie
Oh my, one of my favorite verses ~ I love your emphasis on "day and night", and of course your beautiful watercolor.
ReplyDeleteAnd did you know seed time and harvest is the foundational principle of the Kingdom? Everything from God comes to us in seed form. sorry, I can't help myself (:
Have you ever considered creating a gift card line? I might have asked you that before (**
