UPDATE: My outside help has stopped but I am continuing the healthy eating plan by counting calories on my own. I shoot for 1200 a day but many days probably have around 1400.
Because weighing throws me for such a loop and I have heard in long-term weight loss that it is wiser to weigh less often, from now on I will be posting my losses on the first of each month.
So I will be checking back with you April 1.
March 1, 2010 -10.4 (slowly but surely)
February 6, 2010 -9.8 lbs
January 30, 2010 -7.4 lbs
January 23, 2010 -6.8 lbs
January 16, 2010 -5.8 lbs
January 9, 2010-Started healthy heating plan
Although I am getting some outside help, this is basically a "count your calories--1200 a day" program. Years ago a slender friend of mine (she had been chubby once upon a time) looked at me with a sly little smile on her face and said, "Just count your calories." For whatever reason, I would not do that or if I did it, I sabotaged myself by conveniently not counting every calorie I put in my mouth and then made excuses for not being able to lose weight. Why I did that, I don't know--lack of discipline, whatever but with God's help, I plan to change that after way too many years. If you need to shed some weight for your health's sake, please don't wait as long as I did. "He must increase--I must decrease." By the way, after all those years, this friend is still slender and I would bet (if I were a betting woman) that she has counted her calories every day of her life.
