Hi! Welcome to my music room! Well, not really. This is one of my favorite churches in northwest Arkansas near BellaVista. It is the Mildred Cooper Memorial Chapel. You can get a better idea of just how special it really is by clicking here.
A little about me--I am married to a wonderful man, Larry. We have three sons, three daughters-in-law and seven grandchildren whom we love with all our hearts.
I was a stay-at-home mom for many years and taught school for twenty-two years. Right now I am retired from teaching and love calligraphy, art, reading, writing, photography, blogging and blog design.
I am a Christian who loves the Lord with all my heart--He, and the study of His Word, is what gives me hope, vision, a center, and a purpose.
My main purpose for keeping this blog, other than for the glory of God, is to journal our lives, our children and grandchildren's lives and all the blessings given to us by God. It is mainly for them--if you happen to enjoy it also and receive some benefit from it, I am so, so happy to have you along for the journey. I love hearing from you and your comments are always welcome. Please know, however, that if you want to read and never comment, that is perfectly okay.
A little poetry or prose, some smiles through tears, hopefully some laughter along the way, a piece of my art work or my former students' writings, an inspiring photograph, references or stories about those I love most--you will find a little bit of everything thrown in here.
